The AOA regularly brings together the key decision makers from all of the UK airports and offers a wealth of business opportunities and idea sharing exercises. This year's grand event was held in the city of Leeds hosted by Leeds Bradford International Airport. The event was sponsored by a number of industry partners including Select Service Partner, Servisair, WH Smith, Travelex, Siemens Airport Solutions and yours truly.

The conference theme was based around 'The Future of Aviation' and numerous speakers were packed into two days. Environmental issues, preparation for the Euro, and developing national aviation policies were just a sample of the areas covered.

Decker Media Ltd was privileged to sponsor part of the social events organised for one of the evening sessions and in true Decker fashion we also attended to support the Leeds Bradford organisers.

The evening began in the beautiful surroundings of the Victoria Quarter shopping centre, which was brilliantly lit throughout with architecture and water features to admire.

Part of the evening took place in a nearby theatre where a performance of Victorian style singing, clapping and audience participation took place. Back again to the Victoria Quarter where a beautiful round the world buffet was presented and delegates could once again catch up on the day's business themes.
