Company Background of Decker Media LimitedDecker Media was established in 1992 by Jayne Millen (Managing Director) and Tracy May (Business Development Director), when they were successful in winning a number of transport advertising concessions against considerable competition.
The two initial advertising concessions were on-bus advertising with Nottingham City Transport and The Mainline Group based in Sheffield, Rotherham and Doncaster. These fleets total 1,500 buses and the Company still maintains these exclusive advertising rights, along with many others besides.
During 1996 another company, Tickex Promotions Limited (TPL), was formed, and this brought the opportunity for the group to enter into the national sales arena in London. TPL was involved in selling bus, car park and rail ticket advertising on a national basis.
1998 brought Decker's first airport concession, East Midlands Airport. In the same year, the company opened a second sales office in London, enabling the already established national sales team to operate more efficiently and further boost national sales potential. Experience within the airport advertising sector continued to grow when Leeds Bradford International Airport appointed Decker in December 2000.
In
2003 Decker Media was bought by Adbus Ltd and is
now part of an expanding international advertising
company that specialises in producing low cost,
effective outdoor and airport advertising.
